- Nimble Fingers: +2 to Climb, Performance and Pick Pockets only in situations where manual dexterity is essential to the activity.
- [Fire]: Creatures with a subtype of Fire are immune to fire damage and take damage from cold as double unless a saving throw is allowed and is successful. If the saving throw is successful damage is half.
- Phoenix Flame (Sp): Embers can heal while in fire for a length of time. In a flame the size of a camp fire they Heal twice as fast as normal. In a flame the size of a bonfire or larger they get Fast Heal
- Walk of the Salamander (Sp): Can move along surfaces as if using Spider Climb a number of times per day equal to the Ember's Dexterity modifier (minimum of 1) as if cast by a level 1 Sorcerer.

- Small size. As Small creatures, Valkeries gain a +1 size bonus to Armor Class, +1 size bonus on attack rolls, and a +4 size bonus on Hide checks, but they are -4 to grapple and must use smaller weapons than humans.
